or those of you who haven’t decided on what you would like to do after you graduate – don’t worry, there’s still time!
Check out what we have on at the Spring Careers Fair 2 & 3 May from 12-3pm.
1. Careers Fair Plus App
Download the Careers Fair Plus App from the App Store or Google Play Store. Check out which employers are attending on each day and use the filters to narrow your search. Don’t forget to let us know your thoughts once you’ve visited via the feedback form.
This is your chance to meet a range of companies of different sizes, and sectors, and to find out about opportunities for future graduate jobs and internships. Also, employers are still hiring; use the filter on the Careers Fair app to find out who.
3. Global Opportunities
Are you an International Student looking to secure work in the UK or back home? We’re holding a short talk on how to secure a job or work experience in the UK. This will be followed up by employer films highlighting their recruitment across the globe. Click here to sign up.
4. Top Tips
In Marquee 1 we’ll have a series of 15 minute talks, from top tips on CVs to selling your research skills to employers. Check out the full list here – and there’s no sign up, so see you there!
5. Small Business, Big Opportunities
Working for a large multinational company isn’t for everyone, and a small business can offer unrivalled opportunities early on in your career. Visit the team in Marquee 2 for advice and talks about working for an SME and internship opportunities. No booking required, just turn up.
6. Want to stay in Bristol?
Many of our employers attending have graduate opportunities based here in Bristol. Filter by “Bristol Oppty” on the app and see who has roles for you in Bristol.
7. Bristol Plus Networking Brunch
For those who have complete the Bristol PLUS Award, we welcome you to an exclusive celebration brunch with our employers. Maximise your next steps beyond the PLUS Award by networking with your potential future employer or pick up tips on how to stand out in the recruitment process. If you’ve completed the PLUS Award, book through MyCareer.
8. Confused about your career?
Let us help you with that! We’ll have Careers Service staff on hand on both afternoons with questionnaires and activities to get you thinking about your next steps.
9. Vacancy Station
Graduating soon and not sure what roles are still available? Visit us in the Careers Service foyer for up-to-date information on graduate roles and internships you can still apply for.
Don’t forget, to help you get to where you want to be, your Careers Service will remain available to you for up to three years after your graduation. Make the most of this free, professional, and impartial careers advice while you still can.
