❤ Employers love Bristol students
Your Careers Service connects you with employers – large and small, local and international. Every year we link Bristol students and graduates to over 300 employers, and are one of the top five most targeted UK universities by employers (High Fliers).
We’ve been in this position for the last ten years, so we’re not going to let this new, mostly digital world stop us! This autumn term, we are bringing over 100 employers directly to you through our Careers Showcase Week and Autumn Fair (19 to 23 October).
🤷♀ Why should I roll up (roll up) to the fair?
There is something for everyone during this week – whether you’re exploring your options or ready to apply for a role.
If you’re getting started, use the events to hear directly from employers about the skills you need for work or to find out more about the current graduate labour market. Hear what an employer is really like from the people that work there, including recent graduates, the recruitment team, or even your future interviewer!
All the employers joining us this term are actively recruiting to a range of roles and will be showcasing these opportunities at our Autumn Careers fair on Wednesday 21 October (part of Careers Showcase week).
If you’re ready to get experience with an employer through an internship or work experience, or aiming to get your first graduate role, this is your chance to pick up industry contacts and to get tips on making a great application that puts you ahead of the crowd.
📱 How do I get involved?
This term, our fantastic employer-led events are brought to you through some exciting new tech. This includes the free Careers Fair Plus app for our huge Autumn Careers Fair on 21 October.
Download it now to read employer profiles. Pick out the employers that you want to talk to by using the filters to find those that match your interests.
From 7 October, you can use the app to book one-to-one video chats with any of the 100 plus employers that are attending the fair. Follow our guide to get set up and ready to chat.
