Introducing Transform Society

If you are interested in a career on the frontline of social change and leadership, it’s time to get acquainted with Transform Society. The Careers Service is partnered with this ground-breaking network of social transformation programmes which seeks to connect and inspire a generation towards public service.

What’s it all about?

Transform Society offers sector leading programmes that give front-line experience and training to outstanding graduates, who are looking to make an impact on the world around them. What makes Transform Society special (and a network we are so proud to partner with) is their vision. Their goal is to deliver genuine systemic change to society by increasing the diversity and calibre of its future leaders. To do that it recognises the need to support and link aspiring public service professionals. They provide genuine experience and first-class training, with the aim that their alumni will go on to become leaders in public service, delivering systemic change and realising the ultimate goal of a fairer society.

Meet the Transform Society network and explore their work

Frontline trains graduates with different perspectives and experiences who will drive social change in social work for children and families in need of safety and stability. At the end of the two-year programme you will be a qualified social worker, have completed a fullyfunded masters degree and become part of the Frontline Fellowship.

More than half of participants had never considered a career in policing until they learnt about Police Now. But having been deployed to 50% of the UK’s most deprived communities during the programmes and making a real and positive impact from the start, 80% stay. Both the National Graduate Leadership Programme and The National Detective Programme give you the salary and support to become exceptional members of the police force.

As the UK’s largest graduate recruiter and with a stellar reputation, you’ve probably heard of Transform Society’s first member programme, Teach First.  When you join this rigorous programme, designed to produce future leaders in education, you get paid from your first day in the classroom, earn a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and Leadership and become part of a community committed to unlocking the potential in all children, not just some.

Unlocked Graduates is award-winning. It’s a two-year programme where you will work as a frontline prison officer, helping some of the most challenging and vulnerable individuals turn their lives around, all while completing a fully-funded Master’s in leadership and rehabilitation.

At Think Ahead they want to see a society where everyone with mental health problems can flourish. The two-year graduate programme is a route into social work, for graduates and career-changers remarkable enough to make a real difference to people with mental health problems. We know the challenges that mental health problems can present, and this is your opportunity to help and make a difference. Giving people the confidence to cope with life can be as rewarding as it is challenging. But it needs a rare blend of analytical skills, emotional intelligence, and resilience.

NGDP- Reducing Homelessness, is Transform Society’s newest member programme and its local government’s fast track management route, focused on bringing diverse and innovative graduates into the public sector. You’ll work directly with the council and its communities to influence policies that work to reduce homelessness, combat climate change and regenerate areas characterised by crime and poverty.

We couldn’t possibly tell you all you need to know about these amazing programmes, so be sure to head over to the Transform Society website to learn how you can unlock your future.
