The Graduate Outcomes Survey; be part of the picture!

What is it?

Graduate Outcomes is the biggest UK annual social survey and captures the perspectives and current status of recent graduates.

All graduates who completed a course will be asked to take part in the survey 15 months after they finish their studies. The survey aims to help current and future students gain an insight into career destinations and development.

So, whether you’re in work, studying, travelling or doing something completely different, they want to hear about it!

Why should you fill it in?

It helps other people

The collective graduate voice is powerful and will directly impact the future of education for prospective students.

Sharing what you’ve been up to since you graduated can help inspire those still studying or thinking about studying your subject. Seeing where your degree took you can help others identify possible routes they could follow if they chose the same course.

You can help others to better understand the higher education sector. This goes for charities, policymakers and journalists, to name a few, not just prospective students. You may even be working in one of these sectors and know first-hand how useful the survey is!

It helps you

As the survey picks up with you over a year after you finished your studies, you can reflect on the value your studies have played in what you’re currently up to, how this compares to your original plans and how you’re using skills you’ve picked up whilst in education.

It also helps us!

The University uses data from the Graduate Outcomes survey to evaluate courses, implement changes and continually develop our offer to ensure the best experience for our students. We also use it for promotion, so, y’know, feel free to shout about how the University of Bristol helped you to get where you are!
