Bristol Trading Society, the Business School and the Careers Service are partnering with AmplifyME to bring you hands-on experience starting here on campus, and open to all students.
What is it?
As partners with UBS and Morgan Stanley, AmplifyME offers a practical insight to and genuine taste of what the financial industry is like, with the opportunity for outstanding performers to be fast-tracked for assessment centres at Morgan Stanley. For those serious about pursuing a career in finance, this is an unparalleled chance to stand out from the crowd.
What will I do?
Instead of sitting back and listening, you’ll be living the markets through AmplifyME’s renowned market and banking simulations. For two hours, you’ll step into the shoes of both the buy side and the sell side. Whether you’ve already developed an interest in finance or are simply curious to explore the sector, the event is designed to be engaging and accessible to everyone.
Taking part
Our launch takes place on Tuesday 7 October, 5 pm – 7 pm. After the session, there will be time to network in a relaxed setting, where you can chat with AmplifyME representatives, connect with members of Bristol Trading Society, and meet other students who share your interests. It’s a great opportunity to build relationships, ask questions, and learn more about what a future in the financial sector might look like. You don’t need any prior experience or technical knowledge to get involved. Students from all degree backgrounds are warmly encouraged to take part. The event is free, but spaces are limited, so we encourage you to secure your place early!
