Hello, I’m Katie, studying BSc Sociology. I completed an SME internship with Next Customer Please, a digital marketing agency based in Bristol.

Next Customer Please help law firms to get more qualified leads through search marketing campaigns, including using Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). During my internship, I delved deep into the social media marketing especially for LinkedIn. Over 10 weeks, I had the opportunity to contribute to digital marketing campaigns and develop marketing skills, especially in the legal field.
Here’s a glimpse into my enriching experience:
Digital content creation
I showcased proficiency in digital content creation by designing captivating LinkedIn post templates using Canva. These templates increased the company’s social media presence and streamlined the content creation process, making it more efficient and cohesive.
Research into AI for content humanization
I undertook research into the applications of AI technologies, such as ChatGPT, in content creation. This insight led to the development of strategies that heightened the quality and engagement of our generated content, making it more relatable and effective in resonating with our target audiences.
Research on marketing channels for law firms
I conducted extensive research into the most effective marketing channels for law firms, particularly focusing on LinkedIn and Facebook. The findings culminated in a comprehensive guide, empowering both our team and clients to maximize their digital marketing efforts effectively.
Crafting compelling case studies
I also researched creating a best practice guide on writing case studies for law firms. These findings were compiled into a comprehensive guide that outlines how law firms should leverage LinkedIn and Facebook for advertising. This guide has become a valuable resource for our team and clients, helping them to maximise their digital marketing efforts.
Reflections
My journey at Next Customer Please was an invaluable experience, allowing me to develop my skills while contributing meaningfully to the company’s objectives. I am grateful for the opportunities provided and look forward to applying the knowledge and expertise gained in my future endeavours.
