COVID-19 SME Internship Fund

We have launched a new internship fund to provide paid work experience of 4 weeks within Bristol-based small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).

The aim of this fund is to support local organisations who are responding to the challenges of Coronavirus (e.g. supporting those in the community or undertaking valuable research), providing opportunities for internships where you can make a difference.

Calvium, a Bristol based SME who have applied for the fund, are looking for an intern to support the operation and development of PPE Connect, a platform they have set up in a response to the urgent call for medical supplies to be fabricated quickly and locally.

As an SME we are limited in our ability to sustain pro-bono development, having a paid for intern will help sustain the platform which we believe can be a great benefit to the present crisis.’

Stornaway Productions Ltd have an opportunity for an Executive Assistant which has potential to turn into a permanent role.

‘We are working with TV production companies locally and globally to help them understand how to re-package existing IP at a time where many of these businesses are under threat.  We are launching a game-changing, competitively priced interactive filmmaking tool online at a time when many freelance writers, directors and filmmakers are in need of new ways to connect with their audiences and ways to work collaboratively and remotely.  Stornaway provides a unique solution for complex storytelling at a time where many people are living in isolation wanting to hear new stories.’ advertising

No Ordinary Moments are setting up a new organic food brand and looking for a Market Research and Business Development Intern to support them.

‘This is a wonderful opportunity to develop an idea all the way to market and end consumer. Experience what starting up a business really looks like and learn about entrepreneurship. The world is your oyster with this project, with possibility of full-time position after the internship.’
